In the heart of Broome's chinatown is Sun Pictures - our favourite centenarian. The cinema was opened in 1916 with the capacity to sit up to 500 people. It's the world's oldest open air cinema in operation and perhaps the only one in the world to experience continuous tidal flooding. Come by for a flick!

A little piece of history, right here in the waters of Roebuck Bay. See for yourself this sunken armada of flying boats from World War II. The wrecks include planes from the U.S. Navy, the Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service, and the Royal Australian Air Force. Best seen at spring low tides.
