Discovery Parks - Adelaide Beachfront is located right next to Fort Glanville and the Fort Glanville Conservation Park (so close, in fact that we used to be called the Fort Glanville Caravan Park!). Fort Glanville is a key piece of South Australia's colonial heritage and protected the SA coastline from 1880 - 1903. Nowadays, on the third Sunday of each month between September and May, The Fort is staffed by Association members who provide a unique living history through uniformed renactments of military activities (including cannon and carbine firing drills!).
