The Swan Valley factory and tasting centre offer free entry and free tastings, as well as the chance to watch their chocolates being made. This includes their adorable ‘Chokka the Quokka’ milk chocolate quokkas.
The Swan Valley factory also features The Chocolate Cafe, with a menu that includes breakfast and light lunches, as well as a wide variety of chocolate-based desserts and drinks.
The original site in Margaret River is well worth the drive or be sure to include it on your Margaret River itinerary. Not shy about claiming WA’s best hot chocolate, we reckon their brownies take some beating too.
Take a seat in the lush factory garden and work your way through their extensive range of truffles, cakes, fondues, and coca powders! A true chocolate lovers paradise awaits.
The Perth City venue is mostly a retail shop, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a free tasting of any of their hundreds of award-winning chocolate products. Dive in!

Melba’s Chocolates & Confectionary was established in Adelaide in 1981 and soon after relocated to Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.
The factory uses heritage chocolate and confectionary-making equipment, where they produce old-fashioned favourites such as Rocky Road and Traffic Lights.
The factory has grown over time and now contains 5 production rooms, giving visitors the opportunity to watch their favourites being made.
Visitors are encouraged to chat to staff about the production process before heading to the shop to stock up on their favourites.

Haigh's Chocolate

The oldest family-owned chocolate makers in Australia, Haigh’s was founded in Adelaide in 1915.
With stores now located around Australia, head to the Visitor Centre in Parkside for a free guided tour; learn the history of Haigh's and how they make their premium quality chocolate.
Watch their team of confectioners apply their artisanal skills to create and hand-finish their delicious range.
Be sure to leave enough time to explore the retail store, where you will be able to choose from a huge range of factory fresh chocolates and confectionery, including their famous frogs, truffles, fruit centres, fudges, and bars!
