Pinks Beach ClubAll year-round improved dining options and new event spaces

Award winning Discovery Parks - Rottnest Island is about to begin a $1 million renovation of Pinky’s Beach Club and its new alfresco lawn space.

The project will include the renovation of the interior weather enclosure to provide increased weather protection and create additional multipurpose spaces for guest breakfasts, events, and functions. The team are introducing a brand new, resort-style breakfast buffet area, for guests looking for a premium dining space suitable for all weather conditions. Still seated under Pinky’s open high roofs and flooded with natural light, guests will have weather protection throughout the shoulder months and improved air flow in peak summer season, improving the venue’s versatility throughout the year.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a newly developed alfresco lawn space, with added areas of shade for during the hotter summer months. This space will feature a new outdoor grab and go food outlet and a deck area boasting epic views of Pinky’s Bay and the iconic Pinky’s sunsets, open to all Rottnest visitors whether it’s for a sunset cocktail or meal.

The project includes an installation of an internal floating roof structure beneath the main beach club tent covering the restaurant area, and stackable glass doors to the southwestern alfresco area which will feature new purpose-built buffet equipment as well as new plants, tables, chairs, and lounges to make the space a comfortable place for guests to relax.

There will also be a new, upgraded accommodation option, the Deluxe Duplex Family Tent, showcasing a large, shared deck and outdoor kitchen and shower, designed for larger families looking to stay together.

The development by Lyons Architects is set to be completed before Christmas, in time for peak season and ready to welcome summer holiday guests to the new space.

Varied menu offerings will be available with a refined a la carte option for guests, including fresh seafood and local produce, with a selection of shared plate options. There will also be a bar menu available to customers visiting from the beach.
