Media Release
There has never been a better time for Red Centre locals to soak up the ancient wonders of Kings Canyon, with rare discounts on the popular Kings Canyon Resort from this September.
Kings Canyon’s locals offer includes a complimentary buffet breakfast for two each morning, drinks at the resort’s sunset viewing platform, a $50 fuel voucher, 50% off an Aboriginal cultural experience, a 1pm late checkout and reduced room rates. Valid for bookings until 29 September 2021 and travel until 30 September 2021.
The locals offer is valid for the resort’s standard and deluxe spa rooms. Deluxe spa rooms provide the ultimate indulgence: luxuriously deep spas and private decks overlooking rugged bushland.
NT Tourism is also offering locals the opportunity to receive vouchers that can be used to create that once in a lifetime experience. Voucher registrations open on 4 October, with vouchers worth up to $200 available for those spending $200 of their own money. Territorians who travel over 400km from home will be able to apply for an additional $200 bonus claim redeemable on a $1 for $1 basis. More information is available here.
Tick off your bucket list with a Karrke experience and a guided rim walk, enjoy sunset drinks on our viewing platform and finish the day with a rustic outback BBQ experience.
Set amongst native bushland and red rock formations, the resort is the perfect base to explore the breathtaking sights of Kings Canyon.
After a day adventuring, unwind with live music, great food, and a drink or two at the resort’s bar, BBQ and restaurants, relax in the pool while the kids play on the onsite playground or watch the sun go down at the sunset viewing platform.
For the ultimate exclusive outback dining experience, Under a Desert Moon offers a five course dinner under the stars in a hidden nearby location. Enjoy the best seasonal, locally sourced produce with paired wines. (Selected dates from May to October, bookings essential.)
We can help build your dream itinerary, from walking and helicopter tours of the canyon to immersing yourself in local Aboriginal culture, bush tucker knowledge and language or going quad biking at neighbouring Kings Creek Station.
