We know there’s water everywhere in Adelaide (kind of), but most of it is just for looks. You can put a canoe in the Torrens, sure, but how far can you go?
A trip to Lake Bonney in the Riverland solves this problem, and has a range of watersports to take your mind off things. It will also put you in the frame for next year’s Classic Dinghy Regatta where you can learn to sail, kayak or hire a canoe for two.

3. There are no good fish and chippies in the CBD

It might be controversial, but no city pub can ever match those staring-out-to-sea, wind-in-your-hair, sand-between-the-toes-moments with your favourite bag of chips in hand.
