WATCH: The reinvention of old camping staple ramen noodles.
Turn the old camping staple ramen noodles into a delicious campfire feast with these easy ideas.
Ramen noodle camping pouches
These are the perfect quick, cheap and tasty snacks for camping.
Prepare by making a foil cooking vessel – each pouch will serve one person. Place two large pieces of foil together, then place a piece of baking paper on top. Scrunch up the outer edges so it will hold some liquid.
Place a packet of dry ramen noodles in the centre of the foil container.
Gently pour your liquid over the noodles – use either stock or water with the flavour sachet added.
Add the flavouring and ingredients of your choice.
Scrunch up the foil to seal the package and place on the outer region of the campfire, in the barbecue or an oven.
Allow to cook then open up the pouch and enjoy!
Bibimbap noodle pouch

Seal and cook for 10 minutes.
Open the pouch and serve with a little fresh dill and a wedge of lemon.
